Kara and Thomas are Texans with family histories of having fun in New Orleans. Naturally, they chose New Orleans as the location for their January 21st wedding. I met them through wedding planner extraordinaire Melanie Martin of New Orleans Celebrations. Melanie planned a beautiful wedding day for them, from the wedding mass at gorgeous St. Patrick’s church on Camp street, to the five course dinner at Antoine’s afterwards. Joe Simon’s Jazz Band was on hand to set the New Orleans atmosphere, and Kara and Thomas enjoyed a low-key yet elegant classic New Orleans wedding day, and some fun pyrotechnics from the brave Antoine’s staff.
